When I first came up with the idea of I thought long and hard about how to make it self-supporting.

I knew I wanted it to be free for aspiring writers to use, no matter what their personal circumstances or geographic location.

However, websites cost money and if this website is to grow and grow, continually improving, I had to come up with a way for to be self-sufficient.  If I was not to charge membership fees, that left only Google Ads, but that would be ugly and intrusive.
